Matriculated from St. Columbas High School Cape Town in 1982. 
Joined the Priesthood in 1983 but in 1987 left the calling. Completed his articles at Bass Gordon Willis CA (SA) 
Worked at: BDO Spencer Stewart CA (SA), CONSOL LTD Group & Alnet (Pty) Ltd.
Although he is the CEO of Can-Sir, he has a CFA (SA) and SAIM(Financial Management) .

Cancer Caregiver to his late mother
Charlton James Frans, as an only child, his journey with cancer started when his mother was diagnosed with Breast cancer and passed on in 2011. Although he was always involved in Can-Sir’s events, he officially became an active member of Can-Sir in 2011 soon after his mothers passing. Employed fulltime at MEDAC, Charlton has shown exemplary commitment to Can-Sir and its mission, his leadership abilities shines through in his commitment to wanting to make a difference in the lives of the millions living with cancer.

Bianca matriculated from Wynberg Girls High and currently is a Bookkeeper at Berco Express (Aramex) Head Office. Bianca has a Diploma in Events Management and Coordinating obtained from CPUT, a feature which will be used to its fullest by Can-Sir. Her people’s skills and attention to detail are highly valued, always has a ear for listening and a shoulder to lean on.

Denise is an ex Murray & Roberts/CONDEV Accountant and is currently Head Accountant and Administrator at KILPIN Engineering (Pty) Ltd. Denise has extensive accounting knowledge and we are extremely pleased to have her on board

Linda Greeff is co-founder & director of the NGO, “People Living With Cancer” (PLWC), who set about developing volunteer peer to peer counseling guidelines that are aligned with international protocols as well as being one of the most established volunteer psycho-social programmes in the country. Linda also holds the distinct title of South African Cancer Ambassador to the UN and is also a consultant to the newly formed Cancer Alliance.

Darryl Mitteldorf is the Organising Secretary of the Global Prostate Cancer Alliance who’s mission it is to diminish the global burden of prostate cancer by building local, national, and international advocacy, and awareness building capacities and access to affordable and appropriate care.  No man on our planet should be denied access to prostate cancer information, diagnosis or treatment.
